- Male
- 15-17 years old
- not a lot of friends
- smart
- has easy access to a computer
- experienced with computers
I think all of these thing are typical attributes 'cause males are more prone to crime 15-17 years old 'cause teenagers are again more prone to crime also that's when people start to learn more about a variety of different things, I believe that they typically wouldn't have very many friends 'cause if they did they'd have more to distract them form hacking computers, also they would have to be smart to an extent to be able to understand and process HOW to hack a computer, they would have to have east access to a computer in order to be able to hack into it and they would also have to be experienced with computers 'cause if they didn't get them they wouldn't be very good at hacking them.

Good profile Talia. Being smart, having access to computers, and being a young male all fit the bill for the profile of a hacker but think about reputation. Hackers are more or less anonymous so it is not easy to provide detailed information about their activity and motivation however a simple conclusion can be made - hacking is about respect, reputation and acknowledgement. Intrusion in the network system requires skill, creativity and very often the ability to deceive other people so a mixture of mad computer skills and psychology!
